Our extensive learning materials library has been painstakingly developed over the past twelve years and now consists of reference manuals and workbooks in some fifty generic topics, covering organisational, management and personal development training. Our library is regularly maintained, enhanced and updated to maintain its’ accuracy, currency and relevance.
Our learning materials and assignments in addition to underpinning tailored learning programmes can also be supplied to individual personal development portfolio holders, coaches and mentors.
Flexibility and adaptability is essential for effective learning therefore using our library as a basis, we will design learning programmes, reference manuals and work books, as required, to meet our clients corporate objectives within the leveled needs of course candidates. We will take care to ensure that the right corporate language and culture is reflected in customised materials and all our material is carefully checked to make sure that it treats people without prejudice or bias and actively promotes equal opportunities.
All learning programmes have the option to utilise personal development portfolios (PDP's) to ensure that the learning process is effectively managed and migrates to the benefit of the individual in his/her place of work. Where customers do not have a PDP then we will utilise one of our versions (customised if appropriate) dependent upon the level of candidate and other factors.
Our management development programmes are modulised and utilise work based assignments for self realisation.
Assignment examples that could be used for the ILM's Introductory and First Line Award Certificates, include:
- Investigate communication problems and recommend ways to improve
- Investigate a work area and identify were process savings could be made
- Investigate process delays or poor or missing information, identify why and make recommendations for improvement
Assignment examples for the ILM's Certificate and Diploma in Management, include:
- Investigate areas of poor supplier performance and identify and implement actions required to effect improvement
- Identify a product, process or service where quality improvement could be made, conduct a full investigation using internal and external resources, and report on recommendations
- Investigate the attitude of personnel, the prevailing corporate culture and what measures might be taken to improve performance in accordance with the organisations mission statement and values.
In addition all Institute of Leadership & Management (ILM) programmes require participants to plan, prepare and deliver a minimum of one presentation in addition to a project. In the case of the Certificate and Diploma courses participants are expected to continually deliver mini-presentations on self or group studies to fellow course participants or occasionally to sponsor managers.
Projects and assignments are judged on their complexity, use of management processes and the beneficial impact upon the participants organisation.

We are happy to provide individual's with learning materials, supported by mentoring, assessment and feedback, to facilitate learning in the workplace outside of structured group learning programmes.
